Lets talk about hair today. Why you ask? – Well because the hair (wigs, weaves, extensions, etc.) industry is crazy right now! This is a growing market that is worth billions and doesn’t seem to be slowing down. In as much as there’s a natural hair movement going strong, the global wigs market growth is also booming. With the comfort, giving us the room for versatility and hairstyle options, no wonder the growth. Below are three things to look for when entering the hair lane for the first time.
* STYLE *
Choosing the style of a wig is probably the easiest when purchasing one. So many different shapes, sizes and styles to play with, but it is paramount to choose one that will compliment the shape of your face beautifully. If you’re a first time wig wearer, it is advised to play it safe and classy with your choice. Whether it is synthetic wig or 100% human hair, make sure they’re wigs with excellent quality. Having said that, human hair is always a good choice because you can style it in different ways (straight, curly, pony tail, etc.). They have a more natural feel to them than synthetic wigs. When it comes to maintenance it requires more effort, but hey, they are more durable and long lasting.
* CAP SIZE *
I remember the first time I was buying a wig. I was so confused about the cap sizes. Do I measure the size of my head? If yes, how do I do it? What I found out was that while some wig caps come in petite and large sizes, the average wig cap sizes tends to fit 90% of people. Some wigs come with adjustable caps which means customers can tailor it to their comfort. Depending on the brand, sizes may vary. For the correct way to measure your head for a wig, watch this video on YouTube.
* HAIR LOSS *
It is rather unfortunate, but not everyone is blessed with good hair and due to one or two reasons, one can suffer from hair loss. Aside the magic of a good wig with volume, this is where human hair toppers can also come in. With the purpose of concealing hair loss at various stages and different areas of the scalp, LilyHair‘s toppers are customized to the individual. The pieces are breathable, comfortable, and available in a wide range of colors, lengths, and styles. Multiple toppers can be worn to cover more than one area, making them a great alternative to a full wig for women with thinning hair.

Timely post! I have been thinking of getting a wig, such a fun way to try out styles. I was watching Jen Emm on YT and she had a blue bob and it looked so real I thought she had cut and dies her hair but it was a wig! In fact trying wigs has become big on YT.

Guuurl, I once had a date wearing a wig and as we were on the dance floor let’s just say that my wig chose to go left as I went right.
Luckily, it was dark but scrambling on the dance floor for my wig and trying not to make it to obvious – a nightmare!
So yes ladies – choose the right wig, ha! ( :

I have like to read it because of its natural ideology for improved information area.
While wigs do offer effective covering to mask poor health conditions, they are not limited for such use only.
