We are officially in the festival season and the buzz has started circulating the media. Are you a festival goer kinda person? Personally I think festivals are fun, but they give me anxiety. I consider myself a fun person and I enjoy events like that, but anywhere with overly too many people just puts me in a state of fear. -And that takes away the fun a little bit.
Lets talk about festival styling
Back in the days, all people cared about when it came to styling for festivals was comfort. When it comes to this generation, while comfort is still key, ‘slaying’ is also key. Its almost like a competition at the American Coachella each year. The hoopla about who wore what can’t be missed. Kinda exciting anyways!!
So I put this casual comfort outfit together to grab lunch with my son, but I thought what a nice festival outfit it will be as well. Comfort? Check! Slay? Check! Slaying in my own way,- and that is all that matters. Whether comfort or slay or both, at the end of the day it’s your style. The zebra print shirt and converse are from Primark. The faux leather skirt is an old piece from my closet. I got the bag last year from Forever 21.

Waya say? What will your festival style be this year?
Thanks much for your visits and meaningful comments. Have a blessed week ahead.
As always, I would love to connect with everyone on INSTAGRAM and TWITTER.
Much Love!
Missy May
I think it’s a lovely look and pieces look great together. Events with a lot of people stress me out too, but I still go to them. It doesn’t ruin all the fun, just some of it 🙂

This is such a festival-perfect look dear! You look great and I absolutely love the hat you’re wearing! Personally speaking, whenever I go to festivals, I pay a lot of attention to my shoes (they have to be uber comfy to survive all of the dancing haha) xx

I also have mixed feeling about the festivals! On one hand it´s fun, on the other – places with overly too many people stress me out! Really like you look though!
Have a nice week!

Good to hear that I’m not alone there, Anna. Thank you and have a nice week too.
I am so much loving your festival style Missy. Everything about this outfit is faya! As for me, I am too much of creature of comfort to be camping out on a field for a day or two. Even if it is to see my musical faves! Hehe. But if I were to go, I’d probably do a dress plus converses or boots – like I said, I’m a creature of comfort 🙂

Thank you sis.
I’m definitely not a festival goer, I don’t like crowds, and to be honest things like that I would have to travel for because they aren’t in my small town. If I did it would be for comfort like sweatpants style lol. I love the outfit and you look amazing!
Author
Ha!! Good to hear that I’m not alone. Lol…sweatpants is good! Thanks much!
I love your zebra print top and it looks so good with the skirt! Although festivals are not for me since I hate crowds, this would be the kind of outfit I’d wear if I went to one. You can’t go wrong with comfort and style!
