Howdy Beauties? Hope you had a lovely weekend.
According to the meteorological calender, Spring in the UK starts on the 1st of March but, the weather here is far from Spring. It snowed heavily last week (the week before too) and its meant to snow again this weekend. I’m beginning to think that UK is under a curse this year. Lol! What do you think my fellow UK fam? Well with the time being, I’m just here day and night dreaming about Spring and going about life one day at a time.
What are you looking forward to this Spring?
Spring is refreshing and I’m looking forward to jogging, spending/playing football with my son at the park and seeing radiance (flowers) around us. -And of course shopping my closet to see what ensemble I’ve got hidden there for so long. I’m drooling over so many things but, I’m holding myself from spending on new clothes when I’ve so many clothes in my closet that are waiting to be worn. I want to stop that daft behaviour. On another note, the fashion shot callers we never see have announced that lilac is the colour of the season. Ha!!
On Life
Guess who’s back to the gym! Yes, moi has finally found the motivation and it feels great to be back. I’m a very sporty person but, my struggle has always been the diet part. It is up and down with me. One minute I’m all healthy, -the next minute its all carbs. Just like anything in life, temptation seem to only pour in when I’m trying to be healthy. Working on finding a balance. Years ago I remember watching a female celebrity (forgotten name) in an interview, -and she mentioned that she carries boiled eggs in her bag which helps her in times of craving. Maybe its about time I think of little things like that. It might help. I’m open to suggestions and advice.

While I love Spring for the rain, I miss winter already. Our summers are just too hot and I’m not looking forward to that. Colors wise, I’m excited for spring. Gorgeous looks!!!! Girl that yellow look is every darn thing!

Oh of these looks are so fun for spring, truly inspiring. And yes eggs are smart pack a lot of protein which gives you energy and they are not as bad for as they the experts use to claim.

I can absolutely relate, my beautiful Mavis! Spring starts today here and Mother Nature has gifted us with a late snow storm that will start later today and go into tomorrow. I prefer warmer weather so this post was lovely. It took my mind off the cold for a few moments at least. 😉 Congrats on getting back to the gym. Take each day as it comes and if you fall off the wagon, just get back on and continue on your path to better health. I tend to eat less during the week and then I give myself one cheat day on the weekends. Usually Sundays. 🙂
