They say, “when life gives you lemon, make lemonade!” -And that’s what I did when I arrived in the UK 9-years ago. It was ‘survival of the the fittest’ kinda thing. I was juggling studies with three jobs. One of these was with an Hospitality Agency who sent us occasionally to different events around the UK to do silver service. Each event had its own perks, but the event that always got me excited was the Cheltenham Horse Race.
Why, you ask?
It was grand! -From the battles of who’s wearing what, which horse is going to win and which lady is wearing the most gargantuan hat, this event was everything!
This year, the festival is due to begin on 10th March, lasting four days. Looking to bring some vibrancy to the festival, Cheltenham Racecourse has created #ColourMeMarch. From hats to shoes, to scarves to nails, it’s all about colour on Ladies Day. This is happening for the first time -it will be celebrated and judged via social media. It’s all about colour, fun and sharing what you’re wearing.
To enter and stand a chance of winning prizes, all you’ve to do is share a picture of your take on #ColourMeMarch for Ladies Day at The Festival. Upload or share your picture via Twitter using #ColourMeMarch before 1.50pm on Ladies Day, Wednesday 11th March.
Entrants have to be 18-years and over. You’ve to attend the event in order to win and make sure you’re wearing the outfit from the picture you share.
The finalists will be contacted via the big screen, so BE THERE and KEEP AN EYE ON THE SCREENS.

Thanks to E-TailPR for the invitation. This year, I won’t be going as a worker, but as a colourful attendant.
