When it comes to mixing prints, they either work or they don’t. Apparently its a skill and when you master it, you’re a fashion don..smh!! My theory? Wear prints the way you want. If it works for you, fine!.-if not, fine! It should be a personal preference affair and not what some fashion gurus or whatever says. The thing is, your creation can end up making history (well maybe), but you get the point. 🙂 Sometimes, I think we forget that not everything works for everyone (fashion-wise). Thank you Solange Knowles!
My Sunday church look was all about comfort! And for me, anything maxi or peplum screams that. I love the combination of the floral blouse (River Island) and the maxi skirt (Asda’s George). They blend together very well..-not too overwhelming. The length of the skirt is just right..not ‘dragging on the floor’ long and not midi short. I think that’s how a proper maxi skirt should be.
To keep the comfort theme going, I opted for a wedge instead of heels. The wedge/blazer are old from Primark. Unfortunately they don’t have an online store, but you can purchase their stuffs from Asos. The interesting necklace is from BHS.
*what an awkward posture.*
Could you make it to church and what are your thoughts on mixing prints/patterns?
Thanks for your visit and hope you’re fine.
Peace and Love!
