It's a church thing. Hi guyz, hope you're all well and had a good weekend.
I'm a big fan of comfort clothing and this maxi skirt just gives me that vibe. I fell in love when I bumped into this skirt in PRIMARK (a.k.a Primani) hahaha... Aside it being super comfy, the colours automatically puts you in a happy mood. As much as I hate to admit it, Primark is really becoming one of my go to stores. It's affordable and fashionable. That's the place to go when you need casual and comfy ensembles.

Because of the colours/print style, one can never go wrong with this skirt. It goes with anything and everything. You can dress it down or casual it out with flip-flop and bits. :-)

Blazer: HOUSE OF FRASER, Skirt: PRIMARK, Monochrome Top & Blouse: TK MAXX,

Sorry I was during this take.

The quality of the pics don't do justice to my ensemble, I apologize. Will upgrade soon. Do you think I did justice to this skirt though? Holla!

Thanks for stopping by as always. Have a good night. God bless you.

Hi Guyz,
Happy Easter to you all. Hope you're enjoying your holidays while it last...hehe!! As for the weather, ah well don't mind it. "It is what it is!!"
How wonderful is it that God brought us His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to come die for our sins and sickness.? It is through the resurrection of Jesus that you and I have life today. In the midst of your enjoyment, remember to give Him thanks too for He deserves it.

Today I want to shine a light on my friend (Lydia Obute) who's on the 'New African Woman Magazine'. She won the Austria's Next Top Model cycle 3 and she's on fire right now. I remember years back how we use to play in Rennbahnweg (Vienna) cos we were neighbors. Now, the sky is the limit for this "feisty up & coming model". It doesn't matter where you come from or how you started in life, things can work out for the better. Just humble yourself, trust in God and everything will work out for good in your favour. Believe That!!

Just Fierce!

And now unto my shoe crushes! Ohhhh...awww.. what a gal is to do!! It's official that I'm a shoe-freak! The weirder or unique the shoe looks, the better (not like Lady Gaga crazy though).
Anywhos just have a look at dem shoes down below and tell me you ain't in love.! The colours...HOT!

Which is your favorite? Mine is the all "Red in the Middle"

All hail to African prints.. Loving it! Arrg...excitment!

Photos are courtesy of "New African Women Magazine. Follow them on Facebook Facebook Page for greater things.
Thanks to NAWM.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a blessed day.

Is this right or wrong? People lets talk.

Tuesday, 26 March 2013

Be Inspired: Before you understand how to love yourself, you must learn to respect yourself. Do you genuinely respect yourself? Stop focusing on your negative aspects and focus on the aspects you’re good at. We’re all human and all of us have our own flaws and good sides, whether it’s seen by others or not. By only acknowledging the negative side, you’re forgetting the wonderful side that can actually be shared with others. *Nigeria Entertainment*
What occassion? My Sunday church ensemble. Don't worry I didn't step out looking like that (Taxi). I couldn't let the weather steal my thunder of hitting church. Even braved the weather to take a couple of not so great shots outside.

Necklace: H&M, Earring: PRIMARK, Sandals: Bought it from a friend.

Fashion Experts & Fashion Polices what do y'all think about my ensemble? Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Guyz,
How you doing?

I don't know about the weather at your neck of the wood but it sure ain't Spring where I am. It's been snowing constantly since last Friday. And when it ain't snowing, it's freezing cold and windy. There're days when you get outta bed, your mood will just drop to zero degrees. The appetite and motivation to do something just ain't there. This is how I've been feeling lately and I know most of you can relate to this. It probably has to do with me slipping and twisting my ankle Friday (Thank God its much better now). I just need to get over the fear of driving and start learning cos that will partly solve my problems.

Alright, lets talk Prayer. First of all lemme ask, "Do you believe in prayers and what it can do?" The bible states in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 that we should pray without ceasing. Philippians 4:6 also says that, we shouldn't be anxious for anything but in everything by prayer and supplication and thanksgiving, we should let our request be made known to God.
All my life I've been going to church (considered myself a Christian) but I got baptized and received Christ as my personal Saviour when I gave birth to my son three years ago. I did pray but always had this feeling/doubt at the back of my mind that God wasn't even listening. I mean who am I for God to even listen to me..forgetting that He actually created me. And it says in the bible that we're His masterpiece. Fast-forwarding to the couple of months, prayers has become a big deal in my life. Even if its for 2mins, I say something to God and indeed it does tremendous things. Sometimes you'll see the physical benefits and sometimes no (nevertheless the feeling of joy and fulfillment swings in your heart) , but that doesn't mean God ain't heard you. He's waiting for the right time to answer your prayers, so that His glory will be shown. That's when our patience is also tested. In order not to waste your time, I just want to encourage you out there that, Prayer is the key to your worries!  I want to challenge you today. You might not believe in God, but still pray for God is not a respecter of persons. No one knows how He (God) does His work but one thing is for sure. His handwork is amazing and wonderful.

Read to this bit? Then well done, thank you and God bless you. If you've an advice to add to this post, comment or suggestions, please don't hesitate to drop it using the box down below. Have a good evening or day.

Moi | Yestee | Checking out New Shopping Mal Opening in Town | Over 500 People | Weather, Cold | Casual Look | Goofing Around |

Wish I could dance for joy that today is Friday but I can't! Why? On my way taking my son to school today, I fell and twisted my ankle. All thanks to the heavy snow this morning. I haven't shouted out of pain the way I did today. Don't think giving birth to my son  even made me groan and cry that loud the way I did this morning. Couldn't even get up...had to call and wait for a friend (thanks Anita) to come help me back home. Lil man just stood there saying "Mummy get up, Mummy get up" while crying. The rest of the day has been pretty much lame boring at home.

Here I thought summer is right on the corner! But with this constant snowing and cold, it can only be an imagination for now. Times (especially winter) like this, I wish I was rich enough to escape to places like Africa or somewhere sunny until the season passes by.

Note To Self: "Keep working hard and God will surely make a way for you."

Hope y'all had a better day though.

Just passing through so y'all enjoy your evening and have a great weekend. Chill but make sure y'all don't freeze! Down below is a song from me to your way to the weekend :-)

Song: Uncle Obama
Artist: Sister Deborah

If you smiled or laughed after listening/watching this song, then I have achieved my goal.

Thanks for passing through. God bless you.

"Let us endeavor to live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry." And while you living, never forget the God that created you.

How you doing? [Wendy William style]. Hope you had a good day. Aside the UK weather playing tricks on us here, I'm cool like a pool. haha! God is fighting my battles for me everyday.

Just a quick post. But first lemme say thank you to all y'all following, fellow Bloggers who inspire me and everyone who visits this blog. Appreciated...

I'm rocking a monochrome trouser and a purple pullover, both available at PRIMARK. It's rather unfortunate they ain't got an online store. I must say I wasn't a big fan of Primark stuffs even though they're very cheap. But lately I can't get enough of them. Their clothes are so versatile now, fashionable!

Awkward pose.. I don't know what I was doing.

Have a good evening/night! God bless you.

Passing by to drop a message from Mrs Meyer... Have a read and you'll be blessed.

by Joyce Meyer - posted March 19, 2013

He will feed His flock like a shepherd: He will gather the lambs in His arm, He will carry them in His bosom and will gently lead those that have their young. —Isaiah 40:11
When God speaks to us and guides us, He doesn’t scream at us or push us in the direction in which He wants us to go. No, He leads us, like a gentle shepherd, inviting us to follow Him to greener pastures. He wants us to get to the point where we are so sensitive to His voice that even a little whisper of caution is enough to cause us to ask, “What are You saying here, Lord?” The minute we sense Him directing us to change what we are doing, we should promptly obey Him. If we sense a lack of peace concerning something we are doing, we should stop and seek God for His direction.
Proverbs 3:6 says that if we will acknowledge God in all our ways, He will direct our paths. Acknowledging God simply means having enough respect for Him, enough reverential fear and awe of Him, to care what He thinks of our every move.
A good way to start each day would be to pray:
“Lord, I care about what You think, and I don’t want to be doing things You don’t want me to do. If I start to do anything today that You don’t want me to do, please show me what it is so I can stop it, turn away from it, and do Your will instead. Amen.”
God’s word for you today: Care more about what God thinks than anything else.
Have a good evening.

A lot of people seems to be crushing on Zara shoes lately but personally I can't walk in their shoes. My feet never seems to feel comfortable in them. But I like how they put their own spin on things. If you can't afford designer shoes (Christian Louboutin, Kurt Geiger, Manolo Blahnik, etc) like me, always check Zara, cos you might just end up seeing the knockoffs there.

Anywhos window shopping in NewLook (Shoe department) and I am having some shoegasm. They actually have some pretty good shoes and quite affordable too. You ain't gotta break a bank ladies... My spirit isn't craving for shoes but the flesh is weak...;-) Might be a gal thang!!

These two Platforms are gorgeous. Liking the African print sort of look on the first one.

If you follow trend (fashionista), then you know it's all about straps now. People can't seems to get enough of these babies. And these are quite affordable comparing to one pair of Louboutin heel which can probably buy a house in my village. :-)

I'm liking this monochrome Peep Toe Heels. Looks kinda weird but nice though.

I see smiles on y'all ladies faces... Don't feel guilty, I understand you. Happy shopping!

Thanks for stopping by. God bless you.

Sup y'all! How y'all doing?
It's a fact that we all hate Mondays but now its 18:27pm...meaning Monday blues can push over. Personally I hate it too but the prospect of seeing and discovering new things each day cures my blues. Oops! just remembered that the world is big and some of y'all might probably still be in the M.blues. *Forgive my manners*

Talk about new things! Have you heard Beyonce's new track "Bow Down/I been on"? Mrs Carter is on another level with her lyrics I must say. Talk about Mr West's ego.. Haha! The question is, who is she talking to with those lyrics?

I know when you were little girls
You dreamt of being in my world
Don't forget that
Respect that
Bow down bitches
I took my time to live my life
But don't just think I'm just his little wife
Don't get it twisted this is my sh*t..... (then goes on and on. Listen for yourselves below)

Are you feeling it? Music of today....pfff! No wonder Toni Braxton is fed up. Ah well be the judge for yourselves. Lemme know what you think lovely people.

Thanks for stopping by. May the Almighty God enlarge your territories in Jesus Name.
Good Evening!

Good Evening Lovely People..
Longtime! Hope you're fine, had a good weekend and ready for Monday blues. *Hehe..sorry if I bruised you with that.* Well mine wasn't bad. Still hoping for the best with the help of our God in Heaven.

As a single mother, full-time student and a part-time worker, I hardly have a social life. I'm always tired and tied up, but on Saturday, I had the chance to hit a boring party. What comes to mind when one says "A party is boring "? Yep that's exactly what it was!

Anyways my outfit was put together under a minute. A simple sequin leggings with an over-sized white tee. I like the ensemble but I felt so bloated in it, cos Grandma just whisked me away after a bowl of spaghetti. I had to suckit in every few minute, arrgg... exhausting! The highlight of the night for me was when a man complimented me. made me forget about my predicament. :-)

I use a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W690 Digital camera to take most of my pics and that's why the quality is suffering. I apologize until I upgrade.

Thanks for passing by. God bless you and Good Night.

How you doing? **in my Wendy Williams voice**

You know I love Joyce Meyer and everything she stands for. Her life is so inspiring and she always has the best messages (my personal opinion).  Down below is a message from her, read it and you'll be blessed.

by Joyce Meyer - posted March 12, 2013

[Urged on] by faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went forth to a place which he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went, although he did not know or trouble his mind about where he was to go. —Hebrews 11:8
If you are doing nothing with your life because you are not sure what to do, then I recommend that you pray and begin trying some things. It won’t take long before you will feel comfortable with something. It will be a perfect fit for you. Think of it this way: When you go out to buy a new outfit, you probably try on several things until you find what fits right, is comfortable, and looks good on you.
Why not try the same thing with discovering your destiny? Obviously there are some things you cannot just “try”—such as being an astronaut or the president of the United States—but one thing is for sure: You cannot drive a parked car. Get your life out of “park,” and get moving in some direction. I don’t suggest going deep in debt to find out if you should own a business, but you could begin in some small way, and, if it works, take it to the next level. As we take steps of faith, our destinies unfold. A confident woman is not afraid to make mistakes, and if she does, she recovers and presses on.
Lord, I want to be moving in the right direction with my life. I trust You to guide my steps as You did Abraham. Amen.
Thanks for taking the time to always visit this blog. As always, comments and advises are welcomed! Add me to your circle or follow me so I can check your blog out. It's all about sharing and learning. God bless you.

Good Sunday Evening!! Hope y'all had a lovely weekend and the weather at your end is good, cos me neck of the wood is freezing and windy!! And I mean -1 degree freezing cold!! The evidence can be seen in my photos...messy hair and weird  positions.
Anywhos y'all know it's Sunday and church called for moi, hence the multi-coloured outfit. This ensemble was put together under a minute but i must say I like the combo. Sometimes I spend hours/days looking for something to wear but still end up with nothing. Weird huh? Its probably a ladies thang!!

So unto my outfit. Simple as usual. I paired my African tribal print skirt with a top from Primark, and a red blazer from Matalan.
My sandals is from Primark as well. I had to get em when I spotted it, just cute!
*Just messing with effects.*

I'm a Mess! Blame it on the wind..

What do y'all think of my outfit apart from my messy self? Thanks for reading and visiting this blog. God richly bless you.
