Hello fabulous People!
Sometimes do you feel like giving up for no reason at all? You wake up in the morning all confused, gloomy and start questioning your purpose here on earth? I know I do sometimes. It used to be a frequent thoughts for me but no more. The thoughts only comes when I'm trying to achieve something but its not going well, which of course is normal. What comes after that are just negative negative thoughts. You start to feel depressed, frustrated and discouraged!! And we all know these emotions are and can be dangerous.
If you're or find yourself in this situation sometimes, the word of God and keeping busy are your answers. The word of God will enlighten you and keeping busy will take your mind off those feelings. Personally I recommend reading Joyce Meyer's books or listening to her sermons. Every time I listen to her, I feel like she's speaking to me. Mrs Meyer has been through it all, so you know she knows what she's preaching about.
"Battlefield of the mind" is the book to read!

For the mean time, below is a Daily Devotion by Joyce Meyer. Take a minute and read it. Have a lovely day and God bless you. Keep your head up where ever you're reading from. Let's make the decision to wait upon the Lord and live life abundantly just like God wanted for us.

Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, my Help and my God.
Psalm 42:5
Discouragement destroys hope, so naturally the devil always tries to discourage you. Without hope you give up, which is what Satan wants you to do. The Bible repeatedly tells you not to be discouraged or dismayed. God knows you will not come through to victory if you get discouraged—He wants you to be encouraged, not discouraged.
When discouragement or condemnation tries to overtake you, ask the Lord for strength and courage. Tomorrow is a new day. God loves you and His mercy is new every morning. Say, “I refuse to be discouraged. Father, the Bible says You love me. You sent Jesus to die for me. I’ll be fine—tomorrow will be a great day.” Hope in Him!
Lemme know what your thoughts are or if this word gave you some hope. Thanks for your time and all comments are welcomed.

'Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around'
**Leo Buscaglia**

What a quote!! I wonder what was on Buscaglia's mind or what he experienced before he came up with such a real quote. In this our generation, we're so full of ourselves, we don't appreciate most of the above gifts unless its material related. Research shows that reaching out to embrace someone with our hearts and minds can have the most phenomenal effect. Isn't that a blessing? Let's learn to appreciate one another for the little things cos out of that we can be lifted and both alike (Giver & Receiver) feel good. With the help of God, we can strive to be better people.

Just passed by to drop a word. Y'all have a good evening and remember, God first before anything else. Thanks for reading this post and also for considering to follow this blog. God bless you.

P.S.: Don't think I'm some kind of a saint or perfect christian cos I write stuffs like this. I ain't at all. This words are coming from a sinner and a girl who make mistakes everyday. But I'm learning to be better with the strength and mercies of God.

TGIF! Bet you're doing the happy dance cos its Friday...:-) Well I certainly  am. The week has been quite hectic with University assignments and my final year project (Documentary on Marriage). So far so good with the planning. I start filming tomorrow if God permits. I'm interviewing my "kuku crazy" neighbour who's so funny. He has an opinion about everything. Can't wait!!

For the mean time, have you been hearing or reading about this "Horsemeat" News or better yet scandal going around? Basically some Supermarkets meat products like burgers and lasagne contains horse meat.! Likewise one of the fast-food franchise. Ever since this News got out, there has been some talks all around in the UK. Everyday there's something new about this issue on the news and today is no different. In the "Metro" today, a bird was discovered in a salad from one of this same Supermarkets. It has even emerged that European meat supply chains had been contaminated with horsemeat.

I don't know about you but when this news came out, I was taken aback. Won't lie sometimes I visit that fast-food joint. It's like my guilty pleasure. Don't judge me I know you probably do the same.;-)
Anyway its about time we advice ourselves. Ditch all this processed foods and cook everything we eat at home. Yea even Sandwiches!! That way we know what's going in our system. Don't you agree?

Thats it for me! Y'all have a nice evening and a blessed weekend. Stay outta trouble...haha! Take care and as always, thanks for passing by. God bless you.

DANKE viel mals (means thank you very much in German)....
